But to make someone a star there is participation from the whole world. It requires that the viewers praise the athletes, and the coaches propel the player to perform exceptionally well at all levels and so on. One such being in this cycle is the shoe designer Marvin Baroota. Baroota is the WNBA star Angel Reese’s sneaker designer artist and he recently in an interview revealed what’s next for her. Baroota was present during a chat with the Women Hoops Network on Thursday when he spilled the beans on Reese’s next sneaker project. And the enthusiasts were curious to watch the ‘Chi-Town Barbie’ in her next fit. ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Baroota gave a range of topics that he would discuss with Reese while designing her next shoes. As per him, there could be a gratuitous note for Chicago who has helped Reese since her drafting in the WNBA, or any political ideology that Reese sides with. “I would say both (on whether he’ll wait for the performances or have a persona-designed sneakers) um when want to kind of do.. like a well…I want to pitch the idea of like Batman and Robin um, kind of thing. Maybe some stuff about Chicago you know if there’s any like political views she has. If current events stuff like that. Just kind of you know. bringing more awareness to whatever the situation may be,” Baroota explained, via Women Hoops Network. via Getty WASHINGTON, DC – JUNE 6: Angel Reese #5 of the Chicago Sky handles the ball during the game against the Washington Mystics on June 6, 2024 at Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. Reese was being pitted against Caitlin Clark and was being called the villain of the WNBA. Instead of backing out, Reese chose to accept her title and went forward with Joker shoes sending a message to the audience that she was ready to be called the WNBA’s antagonist. Coupled with her performance, the shoes saved the day for her. And now Baroota has come forward to reveal that he wouldn’t mind giving Reese’s image a new touch when he designs the Batman and Robin shoes for her. Looks like Reese is willing to make a comeback as a hero now that she is the frontrunner for the WNBA Rookie of the Year and has proved that her skills are at the time better than those of Clark. Meanwhile, Baroota has a history with Reese. ADVERTISEMENT Article continues below this ad Baroota had previously designed the Baltimore Barbie, Chi-Town Barbie, and Chicago sneakers for Reese. In basketball one of the major equipment is the shoes and hence a lot of people keep an eye on them. And with Reese donning new sneakers at every chance just increases her on-court glamour. Baroota had also revealed in this interview that he had previously been bouncing ideas with Reese and it was Shaquille O’Neal‘s Shareef that got him in touch with Reese and the latter quickly gave him the opportunity to use his creativity. Perhaps, it is disclosures like these that keep the fans excited. Now Reese needs to have a chat with Baroota and finalize her next sneaker design. Meanwhile, on the basketball front, she needs to perform as exceptionally as she has been doing and take home the Rookie of the Year award.
